Yoga Basics II Eight Week Series


Join Jocelyn March 9 through April 27 for eight weeks of Yoga Basics. The session will be delivered over Zoom.

This eight-week class is designed for the student

  • who is brand new to yoga OR

  • who is new to Iyengar yoga OR

  • who would like to revisit the building blocks of yoga.

Over the course of the session, we will explore the various types of poses—standing, seated, extensions, twists and inversions—and learn principles of alignment and posture. This class is progressive, building on knowledge from one week to the next.

  • Classes meet from 5:45-7:00 every Tuesday evening, 3/9/2021-4/27/2021.

  • Cost for the 8-week session is $100.

  • New students must enroll in the entire 8-week series.

  • Continuing students may drop in, $15.50 per class.

What you need

Please plan to have a yoga mat, at least three blankets, a yoga strap or equivalent, and two yoga blocks. If you don’t already own these props and don’t wish to purchase them, you can make most of them with items from around home.
