Yoga Basics Six Week Series

Know someone who wants to get started with yoga? Want a refresher? Join Jocelyn for six weeks of Yoga Basics. The session will be delivered in the Yoga Center Studio! Not Zoom!

This six-week class is designed for the student:

  • who is brand new to yoga OR

  • who is new to Iyengar yoga OR

  • who would like to revisit the building blocks of yoga.

Over the course of the class we will explore the various types of poses—standing, seated, extensions, twists and inversions and learn principles of alignment and posture.

This class is progressive, building on knowledge from one week to the next. At the end of the session we will start at the beginning again. Students new to Iyengar yoga should enroll in the full series. Continuing students are welcome to drop in.

  • Classes meet from 5:45-7:00 pm every Tuesday, 6/1/2021-7/6/2021.

  • Cost for the -week session is $75.

  • New students must enroll in the entire 7-week series.

  • Continuing students may drop in, $15.50 per class.
