Yoga Basics Eight Week Series


Sundays, 3:00-4:15pm, January 13-March 3, taught by Diane Church

This class is designed for the student:

  • who is brand new to Yoga OR

  • who is new to Iyengar Yoga OR

  • who would like to revisit the building blocks of Yoga.

Over the course of eight weeks we will explore the various types of poses—standing, seated, extensions, twists and inversions—and you will learn the basic principles of Iyengar yoga.

This class is progressive, building on knowledge from one week to the next. Students new to Iyengar yoga should enroll in the full 8-week series. Continuing students are welcome to drop in. 

The cost for the full series is $100. Current Yoga Center students are welcome to drop in with purchase of a $15.50 single-class pass. (Other passes not usable for this series.)
